"If you want top notch service; quality materials and work, go with Jostar. It has been said time and time again, “you get what you pay for.” It will likely cost you more than “ready-made drapes and cushions.” What you can expect is getting what you like through the expert advice of people that have been in business for many years. I needed blackout drapes for my bedroom. A friend recommended this firm to me because she had excellent service from them. I made an appointment and was met by Joanna.
I was more than pleased by the large array of materials from which I could choose exactly the right color and right material. Joanna came to my home and gave me some suggestions for cushions. Leona even called me to ask me to check on the materials when they came in to make sure they were the right color. Now that is service! When the drapes were hung and cushions on my bed, I was ecstatic! Later I realized that I would like to have the extra material. No problem: they gave it to me. I was able to purchase a chair and use the extra material to drape over the back and arms. I absolutely enjoy my bedroom now."

"During the summer of 2014, we engaged Jostar Interiors Ltd. (Joanna Starko) to help us with a major renovation of our home. It included replacing our main floor flooring and renovating our kitchen, main bathroom and master bathroom. Jostar was engaged to project manage the work and translate our thoughts into a viable design.
We were very pleased with the results. Jostar made excellent suggestions in the fine tuning of our vision, arranged for and supervised competent subcontractors who accomplished the work in a timely manner while assuring that the work was performed to a high standard. Jostar was knowledgeable about a wide range of available products and investigated products we were aware of, sourcing same as required.

"This is the third time we have requested assistance from JOSTAR INTERIORS LTD., to help us update our home. This is one of the best decisions we have ever made. In the past, Joanna has assisted us to redo our living room, dining room and bedrooms. This included new carpet, wallpaper, reupholstering living room / dining room furniture, valance and drapery, bedspread. The second time we used her services, Joanna did a complete kitchen renovation, which included flooring, cabinetry and cabinet hardware, light fixtures, Corion countertops, supply and installation of a bay window, design and installation of a cut glass cupboard front and drapery. We are presently working with her regarding reupholstering of an antique love seat and matching chair to complete our master bedroom.
In each instance, Joanna has provided very professional assistance. She is very well organized, listens carefully and has always provided top quality work. The new design for our kitchen was amazing and even years later we were still receiving compliments on it. In addition, her suggestions resulted in a feeling of space and openness. "I wanted to say thank you to both you and Joanna for leaving us with a kitchen that is a dream come true. First you took my wish list and came up with a conceptual design of 3 possibilities, which allowed me to pick the design I preferred.
A full kitchen renovation is a little like major surgery, and you continually answered our questions, brought forward selections, and coordinated all of the different tradesmen to come and go in a timely and efficient manner. You were able to take in the personalities of the 2 of us and deal with us in a positive manner. With your excellent sense of humour shining through, you kept our fears and worries of renovating at bay.
The project moved along according to your original timeline set out at the very beginning, which to me was amazing when watching the eclectic groups needed to complete a renovation of this size. And when there were a couple of very small concerns, you immediately contacted the people involved, they were out very quickly, and each situation was rectified.
We are loving our kitchen and have been planning it in our heads for about 5 years. We are so happy we took the steps to contact Jostar, which I would define as a first class company who employ first class professionals.
